3 things you can do with $20

Speaking with Mike last week about spend vs save vs invest mentality led me to put together a program which I intend to share with those who are interested in finding out more about making money from home.

Mike asked me what people could do with $20 citing the excuse that so many people he speaks to give.. "I don't have any money, how can I invest?"

So I set myself the challenge. I saved myself £20 by using up Charlotte's aseye berry shake for lunch which saved me time and petrol money too because I didn't have to travel home to make a sandwich.

Then I took the $20 and using my etoro account, set to work 15 minutes a day. Have a look at the picture to see a sample of what I was achieving with etoro - I'll show how later.

I've been using etoro for a couple of months now and have already started helping others to achieve success.

The 3 choices most people never make when it comes to starting a business

If you've ever looked beyond getting a JOB and thought about branching out into the world of business, then like many people you may not know what's involved.

I've been helping people with my business since 1994 and here's my top 3 decisions that really are choices. Most people never get this far - that's why many businesses fail. I help put a stop to the failure with my free program.

1. Decide to be coachable (willing to learn)
If you currently have a job, have never had a job or are too young to have a job, then you will have no knowledge of how to go about starting a business. You have to learn. I find that there are 2 types of people that approach me in starting a business. Those that are willing to be coachable and learn new skills; and those that think they know all there is to know.

Even if you think you know all there is to know, you can decide to be coachable and act like a sponge - taking on all the advice and acting on it. That is a choice, most people never make.

2. Decide to give it a go ( willingness to act) and never give up
Believe it or not, many people say they wish they could have their own business and never try. The act of running a business involves deciding that you are going to do something different - what you have learned.

There's a very important reason to decide to give things a go - why? because ultimately you are going to have to make the 3rd and most elusive decision.

3. Decide to help others and teach others
This was one of the toughest choices for me to make. I remember crying over my beer after a leadership conference. My mentor at the time had taken me out for a meal. I said to him, "so you mean that for me to be successful I have to help other people?" It wasn't until I embraced the fact that I wasn't going to be successful until I could commit to sharing my knowledge and helping others to achieve their dreams.
